Alzira On Europe

The European Projects Office of the City Council of Alzira is converted into “Alzira On Europe” with the aim of promoting the obtaining of new lines of financing and resources for the municipality that allow the development of new projects in all municipal areas, as well as favoring the exchange of knowledge and good practices with other European municipalities. A reinforcement in order to obtain #NextGenerationEU funds, which beyond becoming a European recovery plan, offers an opportunity to come out of the pandemic stronger, transform the local economy and create a greener, more digital and more resilient Europe.

#35 EUROPEAN PROJECTS

In 2021, the European Projects Office has managed 35 projects, of which 11 have been approved this year. This has meant obtaining new resources worth 322,462.77 Euros, with a management total of 1,387,280.37 Euros and a total of 103 new European mobilities have been carried out.

Projects in different fields

The City Council of Alzira, through IDEA, manages related projects in different fields, such as the implementation of cooperation projects for innovation and the exchange of good practices, projects to support policy reform, student mobility vocational training for employment, the European Solidarity Corps, youth exchanges and training courses abroad, Eurodyssey, etc.

All this generates a direct and indirect impact on our population that creates a local economy and is a resource for citizens, as well as promoting territorial cohesion, cultural exchange and the generation of good practices.
